One of the areas that lack clarity in the Uganda-South Sudan trade relations is trade facilitation policies. Ugandan business people expressed unpredictable behaviour from South Sudanese officials to the point that a Ugandan tourist who carried binoculars almost got them impounded for unclear reasons and payment was being demanded carrying them.
