SSEGIRINYA-SSEWANYANA CASE: Five witnesses told court that they were forced to confess

Five people arrested with two members of parliament over murders in Greater Masaka last year told the International Crimes Division of the High court how they were tortured into confessing and implicating the legislators in the crime. However, because the prosecution had not made full disclosure, the pretrial session could not begin. The case was adjourned to 11th August 2022.
