President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has summoned the National Resistance Movement Members of Parliament for a meeting.
According to an invitation letter dated August 17th 2022 and signed by the Chief Whip Hon Denis Hamson Obua, the meeting will take place on Friday August 19th 2022 at Kololo Independence Grounds starting at 11:00 am.
Hon Obua who took over the office yesterday, informed the NRM Members of Parliament that the purpose of the meeting is to receive an address from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is the National Party Chairman.
Hon Obua said that all Members of Parliament are expected to take COVID-19 tests at Parliament Building tomorrow August 18th 2022 starting at 8 am without fail.
Hon Obua made it categorically clear that only members who will take COVID-19 tests from the prescribed service provider will be allowed in the meeting.
